Green Truck or Red Truck?
Does it matter?
It does.
City Fire Rescue (Green Trucks) versus County Fire Rescue (Red Trucks) are very different. This March 11th election, your vote to protect our City of Palm Beach Gardens matters more than ever.
When you dial 9-1-1, you expect immediate, professional help. In Palm Beach Gardens, if a Green Truck arrives, you know you're in the hands of the City of Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue — our City’s dedicated municipal team. If a Red Truck shows up, it’s a Palm Beach County Fire Rescue unit, coming from farther away, and not part of our community City Fire Rescue service.
Our Gardens’ Green Trucks arrive within moments –
that is a fact that your life can depend on.
Recently, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue has expressed strong interest in taking over our municipal City of Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue Services. This is more than a subtle move—it’s evident in upcoming City Council elections, where candidates backed by the County fire union are pushing to take control of our City. This is an egregious conflict of interest.
While we value our relationship and mutual aid with the County, we believe our City deserves to keep its own first responders, locally trained to serve Palm Beach Gardens with unmatched speed, expertise, and community trust.
The Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics of Palm Beach Gardens, Local 5470, I.A.F.F. is our local labor union and interviewed all candidates in upcoming March Municipal Elections and chosen to support candidates who best support local values & mission. They have endorsed the re-election of Marcie Tinsley for City Council Group 2 and Charles “Chuck” Millar for City Council Group 4.
Chuck Millar and Marcie Tinsley have promised they will keep our Green Trucks.
Your hometown Fire & Rescue team - made in the Gardens for the Gardens residents. Prepared to save lives immediately.
Since 2023, Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue has answered over 14,000 emergency calls, added 27 firefighters, has shown up for our community for any event from CPR to HOA meetings, and earned the prestigious Gold Level Mission: Lifeline EMS Recognition for the 10th consecutive year—proving our commitment to lifesaving excellence.
Most of all, the crucial relationship with our local PBG Union 5470 is strong and collaborative, and our City Fire Rescue Department (Green Trucks) is consistently well funded, ensuring steady resources for the best available equipment, training, and personnel.
The statistics tell the real story, PBG City-based services are simply better for you, our families and our community.
Please vote carefully in the March 11th election.
Vote to protect Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue.
